Problem Note 52090: Inline formatting for border control might produce unexpected results when the PAGE option is used in PROC REPORT

Borders that are created with inline formatting inside of a spanning header might not be generated correctly when using the REPORT procedure. This is most likely to occur if the PAGE option is specified in a DEFINE statement. The PAGE option might cause the header cells to be misaligned, affecting the borders.
To circumvent the problem, remove the PAGE option.
The PAGE option is used to insert a page break between columns in a report. In order to generate one set of columns on page one and a second set of columns on page two, two PROC REPORT steps are needed. The first PROC REPORT step generates the first set of columns. The second PROC REPORT step generates the second set of columns. The two PROC REPORT steps might need to be placed within a macro to control the observations that are output at each step.
